Priscilla Bourgoine practices as a clinical social worker with Ableto.com and teaches as an adjunct Senior Instructor in the online MSW program at Simmons University, Boston. She earned an MSW from the University of Connecticut and earned an MFA in creative writing from the Queens University of Charlotte. Her work has appeared in Brain, Child and elsewhere. She was awarded a scholarship to GrubStreet’s Memoir Incubator Program 2015-2016. She’s been a writing fellow at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Turkey Land Cove Foundation and Ragdale. In 2019, she became a Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference alumna. Currently, she is working on a memoir, UNTHINKABLE: A Mother’s Inexact Manual for Mourning. She lives in southern New Hampshire with her husband.
